This was the second time William King has won the award for a best individual new home, after success in 2015 with Lily Hall at Ennerdale Bridge.

It was William King Construction’s most demanding project to date calling for the highest specification build for a private client.

This vast five-bedroom house incorporated a glass-fronted balcony and a solid oak frame running throughout the interior.

Working on detailed plans from PH Partnership Architects the project was managed over the 18-month build period.
