The Brook Inn Conversion (Affordable Housing)

The former Brook Inn was converted into three high-quality, two-bedroom affordable rented homes, demonstrating how underused commercial buildings can be repurposed to support local housing needs.

This project now acts as a repeatable blueprint for future affordable housing schemes.

Key Principles

• Cost-effective delivery without compromising quality
• Efficient layouts designed for long-term occupancy
• Use of local labour and suppliers

Outcome

Three well-designed homes were delivered into the local rental market, helping address housing demand while extending the life of an existing building.
