Project Overview

A Time Critical Project

When Euro Garages needed a masonry package delivered to an extremely tight deadline for the new contemporary designed building to house Starbucks Coffee in Cockermouth, they turned to William King Construction. Based in the Lancashire region, Euro Garages needed a local team they could rely on. A team with the knowledge, the contacts and the trustworthy track record to get the job done properly and on time.

Working on the external masonry for the new contemporary designed building, we balanced craftsmanship and knowledge of materials alongside working with other contractors to achieve an exceptional finish to line with an extremely tight deadline.

Our local knowledge proved its worth from the very beginning. Sourcing the right materials and stone for the project locally meant we could move quickly, keep the programme on track and ensure the finished building sat comfortably within its Cumbrian setting. For a national chain operating to a national rollout schedule, that kind of local expertise and reliability is exactly what was needed.

The Starbucks Cockermouth build is a straightforward example of what William King Construction does well. A clear brief, a demanding deadline, the right team, and a finish that speaks for itself.

The Challenge

A Tight Deadline & Multiple Contractors

With multiple contractors working on this project and an extremely tight deadline, the key was to integrate seamlessly into the work schedule. With in-depth knowledge of all elements of the build we were able to understand the material required and source ahead of time before we were required on site with our exceptionally skilled team.

Local material sourcing to meet both the specification and the programme requirements

Coordinating closely with a number of contractors working on site simultaneously

Time-critical delivery without compromising the quality of the masonry finish

"Delivering for a national brand like Starbucks on a tight rollout deadline is exactly the kind of project that tests a team. You have to be organised, you have to know your materials and you have to work seamlessly alongside other trades. Our team delivered all of that and the finished building speaks for itself."
